Design
Built to perform
The Anker SOLIX X1 uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) - a stable, reliable battery type that's ideal for homes. It's ultra slim, ultra quiet and designed for consistent, everyday performance.
LFP is a safe, stable and long-lasting battery option commonly used in home batteries.
The X1 Battery carries a C5-M corrosion class and IP66 outdoor rating, so it's suitable for coastal installs and rugged environments.
Enjoy reliable year-round performance, from hot summers to cold snaps.
Switches to backup in under 10 milliseconds, so you'll barely notice a power outage.
Designed for low-noise output under 40 db.
Safety
Multi-layer protection
If one battery module experiences an issue, it can isolate and shut down while the rest of the system plays on.
The X1 drops to zero volts for safe handling during installation and servicing.
X1 batteries use LFP, a type of battery chemistry that is designed to withstand thermal runaway between 300-350°C.
Three X1 options to power your home

The X1 is VPP-Ready
- Approved for VPP programs offered by major energy retailers
- Approved for major DNSPs
Virtual Power Plant programs (VPPs) link home batteries so they can work together like a power station, providing energy to the grid during busy times.
If you choose to participate in a VPP program through your energy retailer, they offer additional benefits or payments in return for the stored energy you share. Check with your energy retailer to see what options might be available to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Anker SOLIX X1 range is modular and scales from 5kWh to 180kWh, so it's a future-ready choice that can grow with your energy needs.
At this stage, Zelora offers Anker X1 systems up to 50kWh capacity.
Some X1 set-ups and battery stack options vary by model and are subject to availability.
Zelora will customise your Anker X1 system to help meet your energy needs and budget.
There are two main types of X1 battery systems for home install.
The X1 AC Coupled system connects to the AC side of your existing wiring, making it a great option if you already have solar panels and want to add a battery without changing your inverter. These systems come in sizes from 5 to 30 kWh with a 5 kW power output.
The X1 Hybrid systems combine your solar inverter and battery into one integrated unit. They manage both solar generation and storage together, which can make them more efficient.
X1 Hybrid batteries come in a single phase system (5–50 kWh, with 5–6 kW power) and larger three phase systems for homes with higher power needs (5–50 kWh, 5–12 kW power). Whilst Zelora currently offers X1 three phase systems up to 50 kWh, they are able to scale up to 180 kWh. This makes them a good choice for homes with energy needs that will grow over time.
The Zelora team will look at your home, your existing solar system and your energy use to recommend the right option for you.
The X1 system is designed to support VPP participation. Being part of a VPP may let you earn credits or payments from an energy retailer, when your battery helps to support the grid.
Every VPP program is different, so eligibility, availability and how much you can earn will vary. Check with your energy retailer to see what options might be available to you.
The assembly or stacking of X1 battery units takes approximately 20 minutes. This applies to stacking only and does not include wiring, commissioning, or approvals.
Total installation time will depend on your specific setup, site conditions and installer.
