A little planning now makes installation day a breeze. Thinking ahead about where your battery could go helps you get the most out of your Site Assessment. It also means your Installer can move faster and tailor your setup to suit your home.

When looking around your home, keep an eye out for spots that are:
Your Installer will help you choose the best location based on your home and safety requirements.
Garages are a great choice—they’re shaded, cool, and often close to your switchboard.
Just make sure there’s at least 600mm clearance from doors or vents, and your Installer may recommend bollards for protection from vehicles.

You can still install on walls of bedrooms, kitchens, or living areas—just with a few extra safety steps.
If the wall isn’t made of fire-resistant material (like brick or cement), your Installer will add a fire-rated barrier to keep everything safe and compliant.
Will the wiring be hidden inside the wall?
This can make for a cleaner look and simpler install.
What if it can’t go inside the wall?
